You Can't Leave Me Like This

Eighteen-year-old Edgar found himself alone with his Aunt Marcie’s extensive wardrobe while she was supposedly out running errands. Curiosity had gotten the better of him for weeks, and today he finally gave in. He slipped into one of her silky blouses and a flowing skirt, twirling awkwardly in front of the full-length mirror. The clothes felt strangely comforting against his skin, but before he could change back, the bedroom door swung open. Aunt Marcie stood there, arms crossed, watching him with an unreadable expression.

To Edgar’s surprise, Aunt Marcie didn’t yell or scold him. Instead, a small smile played on her lips as she stepped closer. “If you’re going to wear my clothes, darling,” she said softly, “you should fit into them as I do.” Before Edgar could protest or even process her words, she raised her hands, and a warm, shimmering light enveloped his body. A strange tingling spread from his toes upward, reshaping his frame. His shoulders narrowed, his waist cinched, his hips widened into gentle curves, and his legs became smooth and shapely—until his entire body, from the neck down, was an exact replica of Aunt Marcie’s own feminine form. Only his familiar young male head remained unchanged atop the transformed figure.

Edgar stared at his reflection in disbelief, running his new delicate hands over the soft curves that now defined him. The sensation was overwhelming yet oddly exhilarating. Aunt Marcie laughed lightly and encouraged him to explore her closet fully. For the rest of the day, Edgar tried on outfit after outfit—flowing dresses, tailored blouses, elegant heels, and shimmering accessories—each piece fitting his new body perfectly. He laughed with genuine joy, spinning in front of the mirror and declaring, “You’re the greatest aunt ever, Aunt Marcie!” She watched with amused affection, snapping photos and offering styling tips as if it were the most normal afternoon in the world.

As evening approached and the time came for Edgar to head home, he reached for his usual jeans and t-shirt, only to find them missing. Aunt Marcie simply smiled and shook her head. “Time to go, dear,” she said cheerfully, refusing to reverse the transformation. Edgar stood there in the last outfit he had tried on: a pale pink print spaghetti-strapped sweetheart neck A-line nylon dress with a thick elastic waist that hugged his borrowed curves perfectly, complemented by a string of pearls around his neck and dainty dangling earrings that brushed against his cheeks. Panic surged through him as he realized she truly intended for him to leave like this.

“Wait, Aunt Marcie, please!” Edgar begged, his voice cracking with embarrassment, his male face flushing bright red atop the elegantly dressed feminine body. “You can’t make me go home looking like this—I’ll die of humiliation!” Aunt Marcie tilted her head, pretending to consider his plea. “Okay,” she said at last, her tone light and playful. She disappeared briefly and returned with his wallet and keys, tucking them neatly into a matching pale pink purse that completed the outfit. Before he could argue further, she gently but firmly hustled him toward the front door, gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, and nudged him out into the fading daylight with a cheerful, “Have a safe trip home, sweetheart. Call me when you get there!” Edgar stood frozen on the porch in his pink dress and pearls, heart pounding, as the door clicked shut behind him.

End.
